Michael Bocco is the President and Founder of Police Defensive Tactics Training “PDT Training”. Realizing that most Police Departments provide little or no training in Defensive Tactics subsequent to the Academy, the PDT Training program was created. 

Michael Bocco is a Police Officer in the State of New Jersey with 11 years experience as a Patrol Officer. He is the Field Training Officer for his Department as well as the Former PBA Vice President for four consecutive years. Michael is a Licensed Police Defensive Tactics Instructor with the International Police Defensive Tactics Institute. A Licensed Instructor in Ground Survival with the ICHF and holds Instructor Certifications in both Expandable Baton and Tactical Handcuffing with ASP. Michael also has specialized training in Knife Disarming, Handgun Disarming and Close Quarter Hand to Hand Combat. 

Michael is a lifelong practitioner of the Martial Arts. He holds the rank of Second Degree Black Belt in Chon-Tu Kwan (Combat) Hapkido with the International Combat Hapkido Federation and First Degree Black Belt in Hapkido with the World Ki-Do Federation / Hanminjok Hapkido Association. His rank is officially registered with the South Korean Government through the Ministry of Education and Culture. Michael is also a Second Degree Black Belt with the International Okinawa Seishinryoku Karate Do Kobudo Association and is the Director of Arrest & Control Police Tactics with the World Sokeship Council Seishinryoku Kai.
